Permanent files: They stay forever... or until the server explodes, whichever comes first. Realistically, as long as the service is running and I can afford the hosting bills. No guarantees though!

Temporary files: You choose the duration (30 minutes to 3 days). After that, *poof*. Gone like my motivation on Mondays. The cleanup service runs every hour, so expired files get yeeted automatically.

Pro tip: If it's important, keep your own backup. I'm not responsible if your files disappear into the void.

If it's not trying to execute itself or harm someone's computer, you're good to go.

Several reasons why your upload might be struggling:

• File too big: Over 200MB for permanent or 1GB for temporary? Not happening, chief.
• Rate limited: You've been uploading like crazy. Take a breather for an hour.
• Storage full: The server is crying. Check the stats to see if we hit the limit.
• Bad connection: Your internet might be having a moment.
• Server issues: Sometimes the hamster powering the server needs a break.

Quick fixes: Try refreshing the page, check your file size, wait a bit if you've uploaded a lot, or try again later. If nothing works, the server might actually be on fire. 🔥

Yeah, because unlimited anything is a myth:

• File size: 200MB max for permanent files, 1GB max for temporary files
• Rate limit: Don't be that person who uploads 100 files per minute
• Storage limit: When the server storage is full, uploads are disabled
